eac3to 3.24

eac3to is designed to convert E-AC3 and TrueHD audio tracks to AC3 or FLAC.

TrueHD conversion unfortunately does not work with demux TrueHD files at this time. The to-be-converted TrueHD track is the first (or better: only) audio track in an EVO file. Please use the EvoDemux tool to create a EVO file for a whole movie with only the TrueHD audio track in it.

Usage: eac3to src.eac3 | evo | wav dst.ac3 | flac | raw | wav [-options]

This tool can convert a 2.0 or 5.1 E-AC3 or TrueHD track AC3/FLAC a 5.1.

Options:
-448 Use "192", "448" or "640" kbit / s for AC3 encoding
-768 Use "768" or "1536" kbit / s for DTS encoding
Nuclear extract of the DTS core of a DTS-HD track
/-100ms apply a positive or negative delay
-0,1,2,3,4,5 Remap the channels of the order
Blu-ray assigns channels for Blu-Ray LPCM to normal order
Downmix downmix 7 or 8 channels to 6 channels
Down16-downconvert decoded audio data to 14 .. 23 bits
Slow-reverse PAL speedup (25.000 -> 24.000/1.001 fps)
Acceleration apply PAL speedup (24.000/1.001 -> 25.000 fps)
ResampleTo48000-resample audio to "44 100", "48000 or" 96 000 "Hz
Quality = 4 slowdown / speed up / resampling quality (0 = low, 4 = very high)
Mixlevel-back = 181 channel mixing level (0 = off, 256 = full volume)
-8 PCM file has "1" .. "8" channels
-16 PCM file is "16" or "24" bit
-A little PCM file is "little" or "large" Endian
-96 000 PCM file "44 100", "48000," 96 000 "or" 192 000 "Hz
Reprint override overrides PCM auto detection with manual values
-sonic/nero/libav force the use of a special decoder (not recommended)
KeepDialnorm-off dialogue normalization removal (not recommended)
EVO demux / VOB: demuxes 1st Video track and all audio tracks
No24p-EVO / VOB: disables rewriting of MKV timestamps
Test checks whether the external filters installed and working

For best AC3, E-AC3 decoding and TrueHD you need:
(1) Nero 7 (Nero 8 will not work!)
(2) Nero HD-DVD / Blu-Ray plugin

For best DTS decoding you need:
(1) "Sonic Cinemaster Audio Decoder 4.3" DirectShow filter

For DTS encoding you need:
(1) SurCode DVD DTS - version 1.0.21 or later

For video muxing you need:
(1) Haali Media Splitter
(2) Haali Matroska Muxer
(3) mkvtoolnix
