AntiHisto The application was developed by a small program to edit IE URL history.
Do you have a computer with someone? Have you ever had a URL that you do not exactly proud of? Wish you could do it from the Internet Explorer History Delete list? Now sit back and crack a beer, because I tell you, your problems at the end! This amazing application allows you to edit and remove these treacherous Internet Explorer history tag!
As powerful and amazing as it is it may sound, you do not need a black belt MSCE to do so. In reality, this application is basically a spectator in a very small part of the registry. While beginners it might be useful to see how the list control and editing keys are sneaky interception, the code itself is very simple, there are no advanced or revolutionary technology is. I thought I would share this amazing utility with the world - for free!
It is the HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft reads \ Internet Explorer \ TypedURLs registry key. Here is the history list for the current user is stored IE. Note that this is the IE drop-down history, not the automatic completion of the story (I could not find the auto-complete history somewhere in the registry).
After reading it, the strings are placed in a list control (CListCtrl) and the user can edit the strings and mark them as deleted. If the user is finished, it writes back the new list in the registry. It seems that only IE reads this list from the registry when it starts, and writes the list when it must shut down from, so you use IE, this is (or the IE and the other URL list to override).
AntiHisto requirements
